Evictions, Foreclosures, and More:
Today’s commercial landlord tenant law is more fraught than ever, as the commercial real estate market continues to be impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Commercial landlords and tenants alike are having financial problems and struggling to pay their bills, and New Jersey has enacted -and adjusted – eviction restrictions during the COVID-19 crisis.
Fortunately, Attorney Bruce E. Gudin of Ehrlich, Petriello, Gudin, Plaza & Reed, Attorneys at Law is moderating and speaking at a seminar to help lawyers deal with these complex developments. The seminar covers the key issues of commercial landlord tenant law in 2021, including:
- Terminating a tenancy
- Obtaining and enforcing an eviction
- Commencing a commercial landlord tenant action
- Defending an action against a commercial tenant
- Dealing with commercial foreclosures
In addition to Attorney Gudin, a judge and 3 distinguished local practitioners will offer tips and guidance to New Jersey lawyers as they embark on their latest cases in commercial landlord tenant law. The speakers will also help fellow attorneys come up with practical solutions for clients restricted by Court Directive 20-20 and Supplemental Orders regarding “Landlord/Tenant Matters During COVID-19.”
Continuing Legal Education
Further, the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey has approved the live webcast for 3.3 hours of continuing legal education (CLE).
Attorney Gudin and Ehrlich, Petriello, Gudin, Plaza & Reed, Attorneys at Law look forward to helping our peers, and we invite all New Jersey lawyers who represent commercial landlords and/or tenants to join us for this special virtual event.
